Ombre is a French word meaning “ to shade” and is used to describe a dip-dye effect given to fabric in which shades of color graduate from light to dark. This technique blends colors and creates a gradation of shades that fade into each other seamlessly. This handcrafted technique produces unique results where no two pieces are alike!This saree is dip-dyed by an award winning master crafts family of traditional Rangrez, or textile dyeing craftsmen in Jaipur, Rajasthan. They take pleasure in experimenting with new fabrics and techniques, blending their aesthetic and imagination with the traditional knowledge of their craft.
